Travel to Siem Reap, where hundreds of ancient temples can be found just steps away from the quaint town. Start your temple exploration at the area’s oldest ruins, the Rolous Group, which were built in the 8th and 9th centuries.
In the morning, start the tour to visit the Phnom Kulen Mountain which located 75 km from Siem Reap city. You will enjoy visiting the river of 1,000 lingas feature thousands of carvings engraved into the sandstone rocks under the water. Also, visit the Rock temple with a large reclining Buddha. Picnic lunch by the waterfall. In the afternoon, heading back to Siem Reap city start the city tour by visiting Preah Ang Check & Preah Ang Chorm. Then, visit Les Artisans D’ Angkor and see their stone and wood carving workshops where the artisans are taught to use traditional Khmer techniques. Next, visit the Old Market where you can see the fresh local product being sold and browse the souvenir stalls.
